Laugh at yourself before others laugh at you and learn to imitate yourself better than anyone in the world !
By means of exercises based on laughing for no reason and other forms of physical and non-verbal expression, you learn to express your feelings spontaneously. Imagine that you stop taking yourself seriously. You come on stage to thundering applause and laughter. You feel the immense joy of the clown, the pleasure of being seen, while remaing true to yourself. By exagerating your "faults" to make a caricature of yourself, you become a mirror for the humanity of us all, and a "joke unto yourself". The first part of the workshop consists of group exercises in non-verbal expression, body consciousness, and playfulness. In the second part of the workshop, you put on a clown nose and hat, and perform an improvised clown sketch, "Look what I learned at clown school today!" You learn to play with the real emotions that surface when relating to the audience, and being in the spotlight. A complementary workshop: To develop your creativity through vocal improvisation - Musique et croissance, by Lise Roy:
